当社の開発したホースクランプはクレセントクランプ®と命名しています。クレセントというのは三日月を意味しており、板厚を円周に渡って連続的に変化させていることから考案した造語です。
この特殊形状により拡張した際の真円性がより保たれ、円周にかかる応力（緊迫力）が均等になるメリットがあります。この特長は漏れ防止性能にダイレクトに影響します。
また、同じ目的を達成するために板幅を変化させるスリットなど用いていないので、同一幅、同一板厚における比較では、より強力な締付力を発揮します。
更に、板バネ方式なので、取付作業性やコスト、増し締め不要のためメンテナンス性にもメリットがあります。
Crescent Clamp® is a coined word by Mr. Hiroshi Sakurada, the founder of Risshyo Corp.
It comes from its special shape which varies its thickness of material on a circle of hose clamp. This shape makes it possible to keep roundness even when the hose clamp is opened. As a result it is very effective to prevent leakage.
In fact there is another approach to obtain this effect that is ‘keeping roundness’. But our approach has the merit of designing more powerful hose clamp which can replace the worm band in some cases.
